Your First Visit
We know that going to the dentist can sometimes be daunting. The good news is that it does not have to be. We want you to be as prepared as possible for your experience with us, and we will go over past dental history, dental treatment options and educational material with you during your initial visit so you stay informed about your care.
When you come to our dental office for the first time, our dentists and team will begin with an initial oral exam. This helps us have a better understanding of your dental history and what may be required to help keep your teeth healthy.
As part of this process, our dentists will perform a visual examination of your teeth to check their structure and the oral anatomy of your jaw. These exams usually include digital X-rays, which help us see the bone structure of your teeth beneath your gumline and are a perfectly safe and routine procedure. This process is important to view any dental decay that may have accumulated over time or diagnose more serious conditions like gum disease. Our dentists may also probe your mouth with dental tools to evaluate your gums and bite to help identify any other dental problems.
After your oral examination is complete, our dentists will discuss your overall dental health with you and any potential conditions that were found during the exam. By outlining the results and suggesting treatment, our dentists and team help you stay informed so you can make an educated decision when choosing the next step in your dental journey. We offer convenient and transparent financing options with no surprise bills to serve our patients better. We also understand that affordability is an important consideration when determining whether to proceed with recommended dental treatment for you and your family. Our team works hard to maintain affordable fees and accepts many forms of payment, including – check, all major credit cards, in-house financing, as well as 3rd party financing options (CareCredit and PatientFi).
Artistic Dentistry is committed to providing affordable dental care for all our patients. To help accomplish this, we accept several major insurance providers and will file your claims as a courtesy. We also offer an in-house Platinum Membership Plan for patients without insurance. If you have any questions about insurance coverage, please contact our office for more information.
Platinum Membership Plan
For patients without insurance, we have the option of joining our Platinum Family to maximize your dental savings! For a yearly membership fee, you will receive the following benefits:
- 20% discount for all dental treatments per benefit year.
- 20% discount on all sedation fees.
- 2 cleanings/periodontal maintenance visits with the hygienist per benefit year.*
- 2 fluoride varnish treatments per benefit year.
- All examinations/diagnostic visits with the doctor during benefit year.
- All digital X-rays during benefit year.
- Free whitening home kit.**
The Platinum Membership benefits are exclusive for you! Promotions included and discounts offered are available for you only, and are not transferrable to friends and family.
The Platinum Membership may NOT be combined with additional courtesies and/or CareCredit. Membership will be voided without refund if an account balance becomes over 90 days delinquent.
The Platinum Membership is designed to offer patients an alternative to dental insurance without exclusions, and is therefore is available to patients who are not covered by dental insurance. The membership fee is NOT refundable after your first visit on the program.
*Treatment for periodontal (gum) disease including root planing and scaling, debridement and/or laser treatment are considered “dental services” and would receive a 20% discount. Benefit year begins on date of membership purchase. The 20% discount applies to these services.
**Whitening trays will be given within 6 months of dental cleaning and Doctor examination. Complimentary whitening trays may not exceed three in any twelve month period. Whitening products may differ from year to year.
